What are some public colleges/universities that offer either online degrees or distance learning?

I'm tired of Strayer taking so much money. Plus, from what I have read so far Strayer will not help me get a better job. I want to get a business degree with a concentration in human resources.

Wise course of action. Many public universities offer a variety of online-distance ed courses. Probably your state university does. Check their website. If they don't seem to contact the office of admissions and ask anyway. If they don't have what they want they might well give you good advice about who does.

    As the earlier poster said many universities now offer distance education. I would check into the schools near you and see what they can offer. And you are right, a place like Strayer, UOP AIU etc will not help you at all. Those are degree mills.
